- Approximate location to recommend local healthcare providers
- Time zone for appointment scheduling
Health Information
If you submit health-related questions or symptoms, this may be considered Sensitive Personal Data.
We handle such data with strict confidentiality, using end-to-end encryption and local storage whenever
possible.
We do not sell your health data to any third party.
Use of AI (Artificial Intelligence)
CuraNovaX may include AI features that help provide general guidance, wellness insights, and support
content such as symptom triage suggestions and recommendations. AI does not provide medical diagnoses
and does not
replace a licensed clinician.
AI Chat (Third-Party Processing)
- What we send: Only the text you type into the AI chat input (your “message”).
- What we do NOT send automatically: We do not automatically include your profile
details (such as name, email, phone number),
appointment records, or device contacts in AI requests.
- Who we send it to: Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service, solely for the
purpose of generating an AI response.
- Permission before sending: We ask for your permission before enabling AI Chat. If
you decline, AI Chat remains disabled and you can continue using the app.
- Retention and logging: We may store limited technical logs (for example, request
success/failure and performance metrics) to maintain reliability and security.
We do not use AI chat content for advertising. If we store AI chat messages to provide chat history
in the app, we will clearly indicate this in-app and provide deletion options.
- Improvement: We may use aggregated and/or anonymized usage metrics to improve
performance and user experience.
- Transparency: Users are informed when they are interacting with AI vs. real
professionals.
- AI Chat Data Sharing Disclosure: Before any AI chat request is sent, the app displays an “AI Chat & Data Sharing” consent prompt.
If the user accepts, the app sends to Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service: chat text,
selected country/region, selected consultation type and sub-category, selected professional,
and a pseudonymous internal user ID (subscription/token enforcement). If the user declines, AI Chat remains disabled and the app remains usable.
Payment & Financial Data
- Payments are processed through third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, Flutterwave,
Google Play, Apple Pay).
- We do not store full credit card information.
- Payment information is transmitted securely using SSL encryption.

CuraNovaX operates globally. By using our services, your information may

- Update your contact details or preferences in your account.
- Request deletion of your account and data at any time.

Children’s Privacy
CuraNovaX is not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not
knowingly collect data from children without parental consent.
Data retention & security
We keep your data only as long as needed for care, legal, and compliance obligations. We use encryption
in transit and at rest, access controls for clinical staff, and regular security reviews.
If a breach occurs that affects your data, we will notify you and regulators as required.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in legal,
technical, or business developments. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date
and may notify users via the app or email.
